Saturday was a great success at The 41st Polish Ball held at Londons Hilton Hotel on Park Lane. The audience of 500 guests danced the night away till the early hours of Sunday morning when the National Anthems of the UK and Poland were played to bring to the end a wonderful evening. The band and myself would like to thank the committee and especially Anka Badowska who looked after our every need. (pics to follow)

Well Xmas and the New Year are now a distant memory, and we are all looking ahead to 2012. 2011 was a great year for me especially playing with “The Denmark Street Big Band” and we have a lot more gigs coming up. The Bridge Street Bar gig was great fun, we sold over 350 tickets and a special guest Mitch Winehouse performed a couple of songs with the band which went down great. In all i had 16 dates over the December period and even had time to perform on 94.9 in the early hours of Christmas morning.

I will be performing with The Denmark Street Big Band at The Hilton Hotel on the 28th of January. The Polish Ball is One of the highlights of the Polish calendar and they really do appreciate there music, having performed at Cafe polsk in Hammersmith on a number of occasions they are the most appreciative of people so it’s One I am really looking forward too. Also performing will be Marta Carillion a fantastic singer who I have had the pleasure of dueting with.

With over 300 tickets sold for the Bridge Bar, the night went with a swing! The band were great and the audience were really up for it. Special guest for the evening was Mitch Winehouse who sung a couple of songs in the first set which went down a storm. Look out for more performances at ‘The Bridge’ in 2012!!
